THE NETHERLANDS - Applications for the next module of the popular Aviagen® EMEA Production Management School are now being invited.

Aimed at production and technical managers wanting to get the latest advice and techniques, the Hatchery and Incubation Management module takes place in the Netherlands from Saturday 21 February to Friday 27 February 2015.

The course provides a general understanding of best poultry practice to aid in the management of broiler hatcheries with optimum welfare, biological and economic performance.

By offering a good level of knowledge in the various disciplines required to manage the incubation process, the hatchery manager will have a clearer understanding of how to produce the greatest number of high quality chicks, capable of achieving optimum growth.

The course will cover topics including:

  • the science of incubation
  • health and hygiene management
  • building design and environmental control.

As always, the tailor-made topics will be tutored by a range of Aviagen industry specialists who are leaders in their field of expertise. Led by Head of the Hatchery Support Team, Dinah Nicholson, the course ensures students are guided with high quality skills to help them produce exceptional results.
