International Rendering Symposium Returns to 2015 IPPE

US - The International Rendering Symposium is returning to the 2015 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE).

The National Renderers Association is hosting the two-day symposium, which is $150 for registered Expo attendees.

The 2015 International Rendering Symposium will include a presentation by Dr William Dozier of Auburn University on the usefulness of rendered products in poultry feeding. Ansen Pond of Darling Ingredients will discuss quality assurance in the rendering industry. Dr Ken Wilson of Simmons Feed Ingredients will present on the importance of rendered products in pet food, while Dr Jesse Trushenski from Southern Illinois University, will focus on the importance of rendered products in aquaculture.

Other topics will include: FSMA and Its Implications on Industry Certification Programs; Innovations in the Rendering Industry; A Virtual Tour of a Rendering Plant; Global Market Report; and Rendering and the Sustainability of Animal Agriculture.

The International Rendering Symposium will be held in Room B-312 on Thursday 29 January from 1pm to 5pm and on Friday 30 January from 9am to 12pm.

The 2015 IPPE, the world's largest annual poultry, feed and meat industry trade show, will be held from 27 to 29 January 2015 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
