Worker Safety Education Programme Offered at 2015 IPPE

US - US Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) is a hosting a 'Worker Safety Considerations: Equipment Design, Installation & Operation' workshop at the 2015 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE).

The workshop will address manufacturer design considerations, new equipment installation and pre-startup safety procedures, machine guarding, lock out and other important safety issues.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday 27 January 2015 between 8am and 10am in Room A-412a. It is free to all IPPE attendees.

A 'Risk Management Approach to New Equipment Projects' presentation will be provided by Tim Ward, Keystone Foods. Eric Nolten and Roger Huezo, Meyn, will present 'Equipment Manufacturing: Building Safety into the Design', and Paul Pressley of USPOULTRY will provide information on machine guarding.

The 2015 IPPE, the world's largest annual poultry, feed and meat industry trade show, will be held from 27 to 29 January 2015, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
