Where is the Global Poultry Industry Headed?

ANALYSIS - Delair Bolis, Executive Director, Head of Global Poultry Business Unit at MSD Animal Health, shares expectations for the global poultry industry.

Mr. Bolis said five to six countries represent more than half of the worldwide poultry industry while 10 companies represent about 30 percent of the broiler production.

"It is a highly concentrated business and it will continue to be concentrated not only in large countries, but in developing countries," he said. "It's a science-based, highly technical business."
