SENASICA Authorises Vaccination against AH7N3 in Nine States

MEXICO - The National Service of Health, Food Safety and Quality (SENASICA) is planning on applying about 210 million doses of AH7N3 vaccines per month in nine states across the country in order to prevent further outbreaks.

SENASICA explained that vaccination of breeders, table egg layers and broilers has been set as a priority.

The goal is to vaccinate poultry in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Michoacán, Morelos, Coahuila, Puelbla and Querétaro, in order to ensure timely delivery to domestic and foreign markets.
