Leadership Changes at Hy-Line International

US - Hy-Line International is pleased to announce that Dr Douglas Grieve has been appointed president of Hy-Line International, and Thomas Dixon is the new Sales & Marketing Director.

Dr Douglas Grieve

Dr Douglas Grieve has served as the director of the global technical service department at Hy-Line International since 2007. In this position, Dr. Grieve was responsible for coordination and allocation of technical services to customers worldwide. He has worked in more than 75 countries providing support, technical advice, and conducting seminars for Hy-Line distributors and customers. During his 15 years at Hy-Line, Dr Grieve also served as a technical service veterinarian.

With his wide experience in the layer industry and his knowledge of the company he was our first choice. Dr Grieve will continue to lead Hy-Line International successfully to the benefit of its customers and employees," said Albert Cordts, EW Group managing director and Chairman of the Hy-Line International Board of Directors.

Thomas Dixon

Thomas Dixon has been appointed Director of International Sales & Marketing for Hy-Line International, according to Dr Douglas Grieve, new president of Hy-Line.

Mr Dixon joined Hy-Line International in 1994 as International Sales Coordinator before assuming the role of Regional Business Manager to Latin America in 1997. During the past 11 years, Hy-Line's business in Latin America has grown steadily as the company has developed the leading distribution network in the region under his management.

He has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Iowa State University with Spanish and Economics minors. In addition, he has completed MBA course work at the University of Iowa Tippie School of Management.

Mr Dixon is based out of the Hy-Line International corporate headquarters in West Des Moines, Iowa, USA.

Hy-Line International is the world's oldest and largest poultry genetics company in the production of egg-laying chickens. For more than 70 years, Hy-Line has focused on developing superior genetic stock for the domestic and international egg industries.
