Almarai Company – a publicly listed company headquartered in Riyadh – is the leading food and beverage manufacturer in the Middle-East. The group is branching out its ambitions into new areas and has started the roll-out of its plans to become a major poultry producer. In 2009, Almarai acquired Hadco, a well-established poultry integrator based in the city of Hail in Saudi Arabia. Today, Almarai's unique blend of state-of-the-art facilities and unmatched marketing and distribution expertise put the company in the perfect position to quickly become one of the undisputed leaders in the poultry industry.

Almarai Company recently decided to build a greenfield hatchery and selected Petersime to equip it with state-of-the-art BioStreamerTM incubators, featuring the patented Embryo-Response IncubationTM technology, as well as all automation equipment and climate control systems.

John Traynor, Construction Projects Manager of Almarai's Farming Division, said: "My goal is to build the greenfield hatchery within the budget, time frame and industry-leading quality standards of Almarai. My team is working closely together with Petersime's Project Department, since they will not only supply the incubation equipment, but also all additional hatchery equipment such as climate control systems and automation."

Andrew Mackie, General Manager of the Farming Division, commented: "This is a fantastic opportunity for Almarai to apply its recognized know-how in farming, food production and logistics into the fast growing segment of high-quality poultry meat production."
