The international exhibition was organised in the BITEC exhibition centre from 9 to 11 March 2011. The exhibition attracted many visitors, from all over the world, and was the center of the international poultry industry for a few days.

Vencomatic attended together with sister company, Prinzen, and showed effective solutions to collect hatching eggs, as well as modern housing solutions for layers, on their booth. Our staff reported very positive reflections on the exhibition, as many visitors where interested in the possibilities of automatic egg collection and handling from Vencomatic and Prinzen.

Seminar on hatching egg perfection

One day prior to VIV Asia, Vencomatic organised a seminar on hatching egg perfection. The 64 attendees at the seminar came from different Asian and Pacific countries.

The seminar started with an introduction to Vencomatic's vision on the poultry market by Erik Helmink, marketing and sales director of Vencomatic.

After this introduction, Peter Schreurs, senior export manager Asia, followed with his presentation about the importance of hatching egg quality.

John Bierens, product specialist and area sales manager, explained technical solutions to provide perfect eggs with the nesting systems of Vencomatic.

The Veranda system is a colony system for breeders, explained by Harry Luimes, market development manager.

The last presentation was held by Erik Helmink about the new multi-tiered broiler system of Vencomatic, the Patio, where broilers are hatched and housed in one environment. Research conducted in the Patio show great possibilities for the robustness of broiler chicks and can offer large advantages to integrated poultry companies.
